THE CREATOR’S VOICE, UNLOCKED

Stories from inside.
Owned by the people
who lived them.

Prison Audio helps incarcerated creators make and publish podcasts, videos, writing, and music—using the secure phone systems already inside.

BUILT FORCREATIVE CONTROLINSTITUTIONAL SAFETYPUBLIC ACCESS

We don’t open a door to the internet.

We open a path to authorship.

Creation tools, production support, and publishing—without bypassing the rules that keep institutions secure.

From a prison phone
to a public platform.

A purpose-built voice workflow handles the technical distance between an idea and a finished release.

01

Call

The creator calls through the institution’s existing phone system—the same controlled environment already used for outside calls.

02

Create

A guided voice producer helps shape the episode, post, video, song, questions, artwork, and publishing direction.

03

Produce

Prison Audio edits, masters, formats, captions, and builds platform-ready assets around the creator’s real voice.

04

Publish

The work reaches Prison Audio and approved public platforms, with creator control and clear ownership.

One platform.
Many reasons to care.

“Society has long accepted incarcerated people as the subjects of media. We’re asking why they can’t be its authors.

THE CENTRAL IDEA

News reports, documentaries, podcasts, and viral phone videos already put incarcerated lives in public view. Prison Audio changes who holds the microphone and who directs the final work.

Bring the questions.
We will produce the story.

Families, podcasters, journalists, and advocates can turn guided phone answers into a finished episode—with a mastered MP3, transcript, artwork, and optional Prison Audio publication.

Ready to build with Correctional Service Canada.

We are a Canadian company with experience supporting creators incarcerated in the United States. We want to develop a defined, secure Canadian pilot collaboratively—with institutional requirements designed in from day one.

Human stories.
Not harm as merchandise.

Prison Audio is not designed to reward sensational retellings of violence or turn victims into marketing devices. A creator may discuss their life honestly. That is different from building a product around glorifying a crime.

Our aim is authorship, reflection, culture, education, and the practical dignity of making something real.
