Randall Via is a fantasy writer and podcast host from Charlottesville, Virginia.
He is currently incarnated in Wallens-Ridge State prison where he is serving two life sentences without the possibility of parole.
Despite a dark past that he deeply regrets Randall has worked hard to rehabilitate and educate himself. Randy spent 13 consecutive years in solitary confinement and continues to advocate against its future uses by the Virginia Department of Corrections.

In 2016 Randy was one of the five men featured in the HBO documentary “Solitary: a look inside red onion.” Randy spent 13 consecutive years in solitary confinement. He used his time in segregation to develop his skills as a fantasy writer.
