Shawn Robert Johnson

Shawn Robert Johnson, arrested at the age of 19 years old in Asbury Park, NJ, was sentenced to 60 years in prison at the age of 21 years old and has currently served over 17 years this far. Though his case is a self-defense case he is still fighting to obtain his freedom every day. His belief is that one day the courts will correct this injustice as God continues to help him get through each day of this dark journey of incarceration.

Shawn, now 37 years old, is using his time behind the walls of New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, NJ, to show you that its not about your situation that stops you from reaching your destination. Its about your expectations, determination, and dedication within your situation that will lead you to your destination.
